Kanha Jungle Lodge offers 18 spacious rooms and two new independent deluxe cottages with private patios, overlooking a lush green forest.
The rooms are all equipped with modern facilities including hot showers and comfortable furniture. The hot water bottles are always a welcome surprise on cold nights.
The lodge serves both Continental and Indian cuisine in a large round thatched dining room.
Just outside the dining room is an open area where one can dine under the stars or to have a sumptous breakfast, under the rustling sal forest leaves and the twittering of birds.
The lush sal and bamboo forests, grassy meadows and ravines of Kanha provided Rudyard Kipling inspiration for Jungle Book.
Stringent conservation programs makes Kanha one of the most well maintained National Parks in India.
The best time to visit the park is between February and June.
