Built in 1622 by Vir Singh Deo, the Laxmi Narayan Temple is one of the main tourist attractions of Orchha. It is known for its exquisite mural paintings.
Location : Orchha, Madhya Pradesh.
Lord Vishnu, the preserver amongst the Trimurti, is referred to as Narayan whenever he is with his consort Goddess Lakshmi.
The medieval town of Orchha has retained its original grandeur with gorgeous well preserved palaces and temples. It is about 65 Kms from Khajuraho.
