Itinerary

Days 1-2 Srinagar

Srinagar,the gateway to the Kashmir valley, is famous for its gardens, lakes and houseboats.

Top destinations include Dal lake, Nagin lake, Mughal Gardens (Chasma Shahi, Pari Mahal, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh), Tulip Gardens, Shankaracharya Mandir, Jama Masjid and Hazratbal.

Srinagar is one the most popular places for shopping. Kashmir is known for its carpets, paper machie products, shawls, saffron and dry fruits.

Days 3-4 Gulmarg

Gulmarg, nestled within the imposing Himalayan peaks, receives heavy snowfall during the winter season and is a popular ski resort. The ride up the slopes in a Gondola is a popular thing to do in this hill resort.

Other popular activities include trekking, hiking and horse-riding.

Days 5-6 Pahalgam

Pahalgam valley is located at the confluence of Lidder River and the streams originating from Sheshnag Lake. The valley offers breathtaking panoramic views of the beautiful Himalayan Ranges.

Top destinations include Chandanwari, Betaab Valley and Aru valley.

Popular activities include trekking, hiking, fishing, rafting, golfing and horse-riding.

Day 7 Srinagar

Spend the day walking through the bazaars and enjoy the Shikhara rides in the evening.

Days 8-9 Sonmarg

Sonmarg is known for its enchanting natural beauty and snow clad peaks. Also known as the ‘Meadow of Gold’, Sonmarg is set amidst a valley of flowers and lakes.

The spectacular drive to Sonmarg passes through rich forests of silver fir, sycamore, and birch.

Thajiwas glacier is the top destination in Sonmarg. Popular activities include trekking, hiking, and horse-riding.

Day 10 Srinagar

This serene tour of the Kashmir valley ends in Srinagar. Use the remaining time to explore some of the many attractions that this city has to offer.
