Shree Chhatrapati Shahu Museum, named after the city’s founder, is housed in the new palace building completed in 1881. It was designed by Major Mant and has an unique architectural style which is a fusion of Jain, Hindu (Gujarat & Rajasthan), and the local Rajwada styles.
