Of these all, we loved the Indian art section that housed some amazing stuff. But the best of all was no doubt the unbelievably beautiful marble sculpture called the Veiled Lady.

Charminar & Mecca Masjid
Charminar (Four Minarets) was built in 1591 by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the 5th ruler of the Qutb Shahi dynasty, shortly after he shifted capital from Golconda.
Chowmahalla Palace
Built over 200 years ago, the magnificent Chowmahalla Palace was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty and the official residence of the Nizam.
Qutub Shahi Tombs
The tombs of the Qutub Shahi kings, who ruled the kingdom of Golconda from 1518 to 1687, are located about 2 kms from the Golconda Fort.
Golconda Fort
The Golconda Fort was originally built in the 13th Century by the Kakatiyas. In the 16th Century it became the capital of the Qutub Shahi kings.

The hotel is located within a kilometer of the Nampally railway station and is quite close to the south end of the Hussein Sagar Lake as well.
