Kutch Museum
Kutch Museum, built in the year of 1877, has the largest compilation of Kshatrapa inscriptions and a separate section dedicated to the tribal culture of the Kutch region.
Aina Mahal
The Aina Mahal is a large two storey stone mansion, which was built in 1752. Sadly, the 2001 earthquake caused extensive damage to the Mahal. The management is still restoring parts of it.
On to Kutch
Kutch, a seasonal tortoise shaped island is known for producing some of the finest folk textiles, exquisite embroidery and glittering mirrorwork.

The 2001 earthquake had damaged most of Bhuj’s wonderful architecture, leaving the structures absolutely devastated. Thankfully, the curator at Aina Mahal and his staff have managed to repair most of the damage.

Ashoka Edicts
Emperor Ashoka inscribed 14 edicts in Pali script in about 250 BC instructing people to be kind to women and animals, and to give alms to beggars etc.
Uperkot Fort
The walled fortress of Uperkot, is said to have been subjected to 16 seiges, including one which lasted 12 years. An ornate triple gateway forms the entrance.
Bahauddin ka Maqbara
Bahauddin ka Maqbara, mausoleum of the Wazir of Junagadh. Built right next to the Mahabat ka Maqbara is the magnificent Bahauddin ka Maqbara.
