Samode Safari Lodge
Located in the heart of tiger country, Samode Safari Lodge is a divine getaway designed around a series of individual villas, where the inspiration is Africa, the decor and setting are Indian and the ambience magnificent and hospitable – unmistakably Samode.
An extravagant wilderness experience cradled in luxury and unusual sophistication.
The thick forest of Bandhavgarh National Park sits in a bowl, encircled by cliffs and the wooded Vindhyan mountains.
The adjoining villages of Mardari and Gohori are the inspiration for the architecture of the lodge. The walls are constructed with the traditional hand moulded bricks and all building material has been locally procured. The Lodge also uses solar energy and does extensive rain-water harvesting to recharge ground water levels.
Everything at the Samode Safari Lodge is created to combine the amazing experience of Bandhavgarh’s natural splendor with the surreal sophistication of luxurious living spaces.
The Samode Safari Lodge is committed to privacy and relaxation with the individual villas being large and luxurious – an elegant and inspired living space with a spacious sitting room, a bedroom and a dressing area, an unique open-air bath court, a private verandah with striking views of nature in its beauty.
The Samode Safari Lodge has been designed and built with minimal impact to the environment. No trees were cut during the construction of the property.
