Itinerary

Day 1 Bangalore

Once known as the Garden City, Bangalore suddenly became the center of the nation’s massive computer boom. Visit the city’s top spots which include Cubbon Park, Lalbagh Botanical Garden, and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace.

Later hop into one of the city’s numerous bars to kick start your grand tour of Karnataka.

Days 2-3 Mysore

Famous for its silk, incense and sandalwood, relaxed Mysore also boasts of amazing temples. Climb the Chamundi Hill and visit the Maharaja’s Palace.

Heritage explodes to life during the Dussehra festival, held for 10 days in October/November.

Days 4-6 Coorg

Coorg is a fantastic area for trekking, bird-watching and generally refreshing the soul. Winding roads ramble over forested hills and past spice and coffee plantations, which burst into fragrant white blossoms in March and April.

Days 7-8 Mangalore

Once a major port during Hyder Ali’s reign, Mangalore is now known for its beaches, coffee and cashew estates. Take a dip in the sea and soak up some sun along Ullal beach.

Days 9-10 Gokarna

Rub shoulders with the Sun worshippers and Hindu pilgrims in the low-key village of Gokarna.

Days 11-13 Hampi

Wander through the ruins of the glorious Vijayanagar Empire, nestled in an outlandish boulder-strewn landscape. It also has plenty of temples, chilled cafes and great little markets to explore.

Day 14 Bangalore

Relax and enjoy the vibrant night life before heading home.
