Day 1 Bagdogra to Gangtok
Drive time: 4.5 hours
Pickup from Bagdogra airport and drive to Gangtok. Overnight at a hotel in Gangtok.
Day 2 Gangtok
Relax at the hotel or visit Rumtek monastery, Ban Jhakri falls and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. In the evening walk around the lively M.G. Marg . Overnight at a hotel in Gangtok.
Day 3 Gangtok
Full day excursion to Nathu La, Changu lake and Baba mandir. Those who want to relax can laze around the hotel. Overnight at a hotel in Gangtok.
Day 4 Gangtok to Pelling
Drive time: 5 hours
Post breakfast drive to Pelling. Relax for the remainder of the evening. Overnight at a hotel in Pelling.
Day 5 Pelling
Visit the Pemagyatse monastery and Rabdtense ruins. Later drive to Khecheopalri lake, a tranquil lake nestled in the midst of a thick forest, revered by the locals. Overnight at a hotel in Pelling.
Day 6 Pelling
Relax at the hotel or go for short walks in the vicinity. For those interested in culture we can arrange for a visit to a nearby village where you can have a traditional Sikkimese lunch while learning about the culture. Overnight at a hotel in Pelling.
Day 7 Pelling to Darjeeling
Drive time : 3.5 hours
Post breakfast drive to Darjeeling. Relax for the remainder of the day or walk around Chowrasta area to get a feel of Darjeeling.
Day 8 Darjeeling
