Jaswant Thada, Maharaja Jaswant’s memorial
Jaswant Thada, a white marble memorial, was built by Sardar Singh in memory of his father Maharja Jaswant. It is now part of the Mehrangarh Museum Trust, which is responsible for its restoration and care.
Jaswant Thada the traditional cremation ground of Jodhpur rulers. The grounds also include exquisitely carved gazebos, a beautiful multilevel garden, and a small pond.

The complex is within walking distance from the majestic Meharangarh Fort.

The main memorial has a facade similar to that of a temple.
This memorial is built out of intricately carved sheets of white marble.
There is even a memorial to a peacock that flew into the funeral pyre.
