Fabric Exhibit at the Shree Sadul Museum
Bikaner is known for its magnificent havelis (mansions), which are located in the narrow lanes of the old city.
The most famous amongst these are the Rampuria Group of Havelis.
These havelis were built by Balujee Chalva, who was hired by the Rampuria family of Bikaner.
Unfortunately, like most other havelis, they are in a sad state of disrepair.
Bhanda Shaha Jain Temple
Built by Bhanda Shah, the beautiful Bhanda Shaha Jain Temple is one of the more popular temples in Bikaner.
This two level temple has a beautifully designed ceiling with exquisite golden leaf work.
Painted Window Shutters
After our visit to the temple, we bumped into one of the locals who has been growing his mustache for more than 10 years.
He was more than happy to uncoil his rolled up mustache.
