Hotel Nest Inn is a recently renovated hotel near Egmore Railway Station. The rooms are large with Scandinavian-style furniture that gave the space a neat and functional look.

We weren’t expecting any culinary highs in Chennai. However, we were super surprised with the variety and quality of food on offer was a total delight!

In 1897, when Swami Vivekananda visited Chennai after his return from the West, Iyengar hosted him at the Ice House where he delivered some of his most famous lectures.

Chennai being a port and the capital, is a large, bustling city segregated into different areas, each with its own little flavor.
