Hotel Madhuvan, Bijapur
Located conveniently near the center of Station Road, which runs across the breadth of the little town, the hotel is perfect for exploring all the attractions.
Mayura Chalukya
The hotel is located about a kilometer from the main bus stand and therefore, away from all the chaos. It is a large property, with several buildings clustered behind the main one.
Peridot Inn, Mysore
The hotel is located northwest of the city center, close to the Bharat Cancer Hospital and on the way to the large Infosys (software company) campus.
Suvarna Regency, Hassan
The guidebooks had said that Hassan is just another industrial town with no charm of its own. They weren’t kidding! It’s a sad little town with dusty streets, congested markets and pot-holed roads.
Alpine Hut, Sonmarg
At night, we saw grazing horses as well; they looked lovely in the moonlight. We loved sitting in the balcony and staring at all these sights; nowhere else have we stayed at a more beautiful location!
Hotel Yamini, Palampur
Although the name didn’t sound too appealing to me, Hotel Yamini, turned out to be a great stay option in Palampur. Located in the heart of town, this 6-storied building has updated rooms.
Banjara Retreat, Shoja
Banjara Retreat, located at the edge of a switchback, on the road that heads from Banjar to Jalori Pass, is a pretty property, affording breathtaking views of the valley below it.
Raju’s Guest House
The upper floor houses a lovely open-air sitting area, a cozy living room, a small dining area for four and a library with a modest collection of books.
