Andretta Pottery and Craft Society
Andretta Pottery and Craft Society was started in 1983 and is now run by Mansimran ‘Mini’ Singh, son of the famous potter Gurucharan Singh.
The society offers 3 month long resident courses for about 40K INR.
When I had read about the society and their courses, I was very keen on taking it up post our ‘itch’. However I was quite disappointed with the workshop, the staff and the general feel of the place.
Most of the pieces on display seemed like the regular handmade pots/cups you’d find in your local handicraft store – Nothing to write home about.
