The Orchard Hut, a homestay run by the Dhami family, is located about 12 kms from Chamba in the Panj-la valley.

Orchard Hut is about a 25 minute trek up a steep hill off the main road.

The Dhamis were the pioneers in promoting tourism in the Chamba region. They also arrange multiple day treks in the surrounding forest areas.
