Chamba Temples
Chamba is home to a number of temples and host to two popular fairs – “Suhi Mata Mela” and “Minjar Mela”.
Chamunda Devi Temple
Chamunda Devi Temple, positioned on the spur of Shah Madar range, is the only wooden temple with a gabled roof in Chamba.
It was built in 1700s by Umed Singh.

Lakshmi Narayan Temples Complex
This temple complex, associated to the Vaishnavite sect, was built in the 10th century by Sahil Verman.
Shri Lakshmi mandir, Trimbakeshwar mandir, Shri Gaurishankerji mandir
All the temples have wooden chatries with a shikara, and a Garbagriha (sanctum sanctorum).
