Khajuraho Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage
The Khajuraho temples were built during the Chandella dynasty, between 950 and 1050. Now only about 20 temples remain which have been classified into three separate groups – Western, Eastern, and Southern Group of temples.

Kandriya Mahadev Temple
This is the most magnificient and the largest temple in Khajuraho.
The word ‘Kandariya‘ refers to the abode of Lord Shiva on Mt Kailash.
