Towering over the Leh town, the nine story high Leh Palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century.

Munshi’s House

This was the residence of the King’s secretary, and dates all the way back to 17th century.

The building is now being restored by the Ladakh Art and Media Organisation, and will be converted into an Arts Resource Center.
