Basgo Gompa
Basgo, located 40Kms from Leh, was once the seat of power of the Namgyal family.
Basgo Citadel – situated atop a hill towering over the ruins
The citadel and the three temples were built by the Tibetan king Gragspabum and his descendants in the 16th and 17th centuries A.D.
