Since the old temple is being replaced by a new one, the Hatu Mata idol has been placed in a temporary structure by the temple authorities.

The new temple is being constructed by skilled craftsmen from Kinnaur. They have been working on it for the last 3 years.

The entire structure is being built using Deodar wood. Deodar means ‘The wood of the gods’.
