Pari Mahal
Pari Mahal is a seven terraced garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range over-looking city of Srinagar. Its design and architecture depicts the high calibre of Islamic architecture and patronage of art during the reign of the then Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.

It was built by Prince Dara Shikoh, son of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
Prince Dara, who had a keen interest in Astronomy & Sufism, used Pari Mahal as an observatory.
Built amidst the Zabarawan Hills, this multilevel terraced garden offers spectacular views of Srinagar and its beautiful lakes.
