Patnitop Jammu
Patnitop is a hill station on the way (National Highway 1A) from Jammu to Srinagar.

The origin of the name Patnitop is a distortion of the original name of “Patan Da Talab” meaning “Pond of the Princess”. Over the years the British changed the name from “Patan Da Talab” to Patnitop (duh?!).

Patnitop is located in the Shiwalik belt of the Himalayas, and is in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
