Chandigarh Rose Gardens
In line with Le Corbusier’s vision, Chandigarh is dotted with excellent Gardens and Parks. Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, also known as Chandigarh Rose Garden, is spread over 30 Acres, is Asia’s largest Rose Garden. It has over 1600 different varieties of roses.
This was planned by Dr. M.S. Randhawa, who is well known for his interest in horticulture.
The Annual Rose Festival is held here in late Feb/early March, which attracts over 20,000 visitors.
Bougainvillea Garden
This 20 acre garden has over a hundred bougainvillea varieties.
This park houses bougainvilleas shaped into various forms like arches, pavilions, bowers, and arcades.

Shanti Kunj
Shanti Kunj garden is located between the Rose Garden and the Cricket Stadium in Sector 16.
A stream that runs through this garden, dividing it into five different segments.
