Saheliyon ki Bari
Saheliyon Ki Bari means “Garden of maids”. This garden is located on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake, was built in the 18th century by Maharana Sangram Singh. It is known for its lush green lawns, stone art and water fountains.
Gardens
The garden was designed by the king himself and presented this garden to his queen. The Queen was accompanied by 48 maids as part of the dowry. The queen with her maids and female companions used to come here for a stroll and spend their time in leisure.
Outer gardens
The fountains were imported from England. The fountains are in the form of sculpted birds that spurt water from their beaks.

The green grass,trees, flowerbeds, and pavilions add to the romantic feel of this beautiful garden.

Savi, Madhu,
We went to Saheliyon ki baadi when I was in 11th std. There was a walkway that had sprays of water coming from both sides . The queen used to spend her hot summer afternoons there..:-) . I remember seeing a lot of peacocks everywhere .
You look absolutely stunning in all the pics. Madhu is so-so…:-)…just kidding.
