Shergol

Shergol is situated across the river, right off the Kargil-Leh highway. The main attraction is a cave monastery which is visible from far as a white speck against the vertically rising hill.

Fotu La Pass

At an elevation of 4108 m, Fotu La is the highest point on the Srinagar-Leh highway.
