Harihareshwar’s Pradakshina path
Behind the Kal Bhairava mandapa, a sign read ‘Pradakshina Marg’ and pointed to a flight of stone steps that climbed into the adjoining hill. Pradakshina is the term used to describe the circular path that the devotees take around the deity, always keeping their right shoulder towards it.

We could have got a boat from Rajpuri port (same place from where we took a boat to Janjira Fort) as well, especially since it’s closer at 5kms.
Ferry Ride Pictures (Konkan Coast, Maharastra)
As part of our journey from Janjira to Harihareshwar, we took a ferry ride from Agardanda to Dighi Fort. This was the first ferry ride on this trip. It was a very beautiful ride.
A taste of the Konkan Coast
We walked along the shore and loved the cool sea-breeze under the warm sun! Later we sipped chai at one of the shacks and enjoyed the lovely view.
Kashid Beach
Kashid Beach is in the northern Konkan region, about 17kms north of Murud. The 3 km stretch of beach is tucked in between two rocky hillocks.
