Chail
Chail, spread over three hills (Pandhawa, Rajgarh, Sidh Tibba), is a great place for leisurely walks. The walk to the Cricket Ground (highest in the world) is a very pleasant one with short detours to the Gurudwara Sahib and Sidh Baba Mandir.
Gurudwara Sahib
Built in 1907, the Gurudwara is a yellow colored building located about a km from the Market.
On the way to the Gurudwara
The architecture and facades of the Gurudwara resembles a portugese church.
Gurudwara Sahib Chail
There are only 4 sikh families living in Chail. Though it gets a fair number of visitors from Delhi and Punjab on long weekends.

World’s highest Cricket Ground

The ground is now within the Army Cantonment Area and is off limits for civilians. We could only take a peek at it from the gates.

What you go to find in hills is fresh green views, the fragrance, the coolness, the whole beauty and peace on it… I wonder why people goto Simla and miss Chail… its all together different… wonderful… And thank you for letting us know that there is a Gurudwara also along with Sidh Mandir… I wonder how I missed these divine places to meditate in my last visit to Cheil…
